Another schoolproject

Today I want to show you another schoolproject. We had to bring an artwork that inspires us and I took this one with me, a wonderful Picasso!

I like it because it looks like 3D, it's almost like the roofs are coming out of the painting. That's also what I wanted to do with my design and I made a lot of wrinkles to create this. 

I did it with a yellow fabric and my teacher told me to paint it a little bit. Then it looked a little more like the painting. This is the result and I really like it, in the beginning I was afraid and scared because I thought I was ruining it. But I didn't haha, I hope you like it too!

Inspiration

I would like to show you some inspiration again. I was looking for lovely ideas and on www.favim.com I found this serie, I love it! Maybe I can do something like this in the future.

Robin

A while ago I made pictures of Robin, we tried to do something different. Normally I make 'soft and sweet' pictures but now the theme was 'raw'. I really like to do this too so I think I'm gonna try more styles of photography and keep doing everything! Make up was done by the talented Laura Kennedie. I hope you like it too!

Madelinde

Two weeks ago I made pictures of Madelinde, we had a great team. The make-up was done by Dewi and the styling by Daniëlle. I really like the pictures, she's so beautiful and now and then she looks a lot like Doutzen Kroes so in my eyes I made pictures of Doutzen 2 haha! I hope you like it too.

Paper project

Last two weeks I did two photoshoots and I would like to show the results to you soon but for now I want to show a schoolproject, the first one on this blog. Our assignment was to make 'something to wear' out of paper. It was forbidden to think immediately about clothing (like a dress or a skirt and stuff) and we had to try things on the mannequins to see what happened with the paper. I used a lot of newspapers to get this and I really liked to do it!  I made a design and also something like a collar. I didn't know what to choose, with or without so I did both. My lovely little sister posed for me in the pictures, it's handy to have such a great model nearby. I hope you like the result!

Some old stuff

It's unbelievable, such a long time ago for me being here! School is claiming too much time so it's hard to combine but I keep trying.
Today I was cleaning up my computer and found some nice pictures I didn't share before. I took this pictures of beautiful Karin a long time ago. The two dresses she's wearing are made by me and I was very proud of them those days, haha. I still like the pictures very much because the light is beautiful I think. Maybe you'll think the same!

Antwerp

It's a long time ago I posted my last blog! That's because I went to school this week. Last week I had my introduction and we were going to Antwerp! That's an amazing city, I think. Lovely buildings, shops and terraces. We were there three days. Way too short to see everything of course, but a trainticket to the Netherlands is only €5.60 so I think I will go there more times soon! I took some pictures of the Central Station, it's so beautiful.

I think I will post one time a week in the future. Than I can show you some work I made at school too! I'm going to the School of the Arts in Utrecht and I'm going to study Fashion Design. No photography haha, surprise! But of course, I'm going to match it together so you will see a lot of pictures of my clothes made by myself in the future!

Linda's nailart

Just a little post to support my little sister. This week my little sister did something nice with my nails:

Mister spider

I found these pictures on my computer, I think I made them last year in the fall. I'm very affraid of spiders but the webs they build, wow I think they're amazing! It's like a story. Mister spider made his web, the wasp is already wrapped in and the spider is on his way to his meal! Poor, poor thing.

Moodboards

Today I made two moodboards, they are very different but I would like to make some photos in both styles. 

The first one is a little bit good-girls-gone-bad-like, I think it's nice to work this out on the streets and maybe in some rough buildings.

The second one is more sweet and innocent with a red theme.

I hope I can find a great team to work both things out and maybe you get inspired too!
